Every ordinary day in Rachel's life becomes a nightmare when, after walking her daughter, Kylie, to the bus stop, she receives a call from an unidentified number. Rachel, an ordinary woman, is forced to face difficult moral choices and transform into a criminal. The chain knows no mercy and demands that she follow its rules—obtain the money, find a victim, and then commit an act that would have been unthinkable not long ago.

The creators of the Chain understand that a parent will do anything to protect their child, and they designed it so that subsequent victims will maintain its anonymous existence. However, this time they have encountered a worthy adversary. Rachel is intelligent, desperate, and unwilling to give up. Will she find a way to save Kylie and end the Chain forever?
